CHEF steering group involved in new international association

CHEF steering group members Søren S. E. Bengtsen, Sarah Robinson, Laura Louise Sarauw, and Rikke Toft Nørgård are involved in the formation of the new independent international academic association Philosophy and Theory of Higher Education Society (PaTHES).

The society Philosophy and Theory of Higher Education Society (PaTHES) is being organized and led by a group of international scholars including:

  • Professor Emeritus Ronald Barnett (president)
  • Dr Søren S.E. Bengtsen (Chair)
  • Dr Amanda Fulford (Vice-Chair)
  • Dr Sarah Robinson (Treasurer)
  • Professor Wesley Shumar (Secretary)
  • Professor Paul Gibbs (Conference Liaison Officer)
  • Professor John Petrovic (Editor in Chief)

The aim of the society is to form and promote an effective worldwide community of scholars and academics developing philosophical and theoretical thinking, and engaging in research, developmental and professional work on higher education, and on the future of universities.
