De Studerendes Råd

What is DSR?

DSR is a student's union, working to improve student life for all students in The Department of Education at Aarhus University.

More specifically this means:

  • DSR is run by students (volunteers).
  • All students in Department of Education are members.
  • 'Improving student life' may seem like a very broad statement - but in fact this is a really good way to describe our work. We're interested in national education policy, as well as having better chairs at campus (and everything in between).
  • We're an independent organisation - this means that we're not representing e.g. a political party.

What can DSR do for you?

If you have a good idea, something you're missing, or maybe something you find frustrating, we might be able to help you. The easiest way to contact us is by mail: If we're unable to help you, we will do our best to find somebody who can.

If you want to take part in the voluntary activities in the department, DSR is a good place to start. We'll help you find an activity that matches your wishes and abilities. This might be in one of our own projects, but as well we're cooperating with other organisations and projects.

Events and activities

DSR is responsible for a variety of events and activities every semester. These events and activities are always announced at our profile on Facebook. Even if you're not a member of Facebook, you will still be able to see relevant information on the page (to interact with DSR and other members, you will need a profile).
