Anthropological Theory of Cultural Processes

Anthropological theory of cultural learning processes

The theory of cultural learning processes considers learning processes as those underlying processes  that on the one hand establishes expectations of specific (re-)actions, meanings of words, attires and practical knowledge making people culturally recognizable for each other, while on the other hand making people culturally different according to these very expectations.

Cultural learning processes are lifelong learning processes that continually transform our understanding of the relation between materiality and meaning. The theory is expanded in the books Kulturanalyser i organisationer (Hasse 2011, Samfundslitteratur Publishing)  og Kultur i bevægelse (Hasse 2002, Samfundslitteratur Publishing).

Research is conducted in primary schools, hospitals, care homes and rehabilitation centres and includes a perspective of lifelong learning as cultural learning processes.
